Error: Application not found due to leaving it out during custom installation.
Error:
Word cannot find or run the application(). Run Setup to install ().
Cause:
A custom installation of Microsoft Office with the application cleared does not install an application.
Solution:
Run Microsoft Office Setup. Click 'Add/Remove...'. Select the application check box to add the missing application.
Run Microsoft Office Setup in the maintenance mode:
1) Click 'Start' todisplay the Windows 'Start' menu.
Start menu
2) Select 'Run...'.
3) Type <drive>:\SETUP in the 'Command Line' box, where <drive> is the floppy or CD-ROM drive letter.
4) Click 'OK'. (The Microsoft Office Setup dialog box appears.)
5) Click 'Add/Remove...'.
6) Select the missing application.
7) Click 'OK'.
8) Click 'Continue'.
9) Respond to the prompts to complete the installation.
